Devil 276 Posted September 27, 2023 All Windows OS has at least Windows Defender or some of us using 3rd part antivirus programs like Kaspersky, Avast, Avira, NOD32 and etc. Mostly these programs blocking the files of the game client. What is the proper way to bypass these restrictions? Here is the guide. Exclusion What is exclusion? Exclusion is the part of the antivirus programs which will not be in scan list of it. I'll explain the Windows Defender version, coz I don't use any other antivirus, so nothing to show about them) 1. Click on "Start" and type "Windows Defender" or "Windows Security" and open it 2. Go to Virus & threat protection -> Virus & threat protection settings -> Manage Settings -> Exclusions 3. Click on "+ Add an exclusion" and select "Folder" 4. Select the folders where the game will be downloaded and installed. For example, you download the client from the web site to "Downloads" and install it to "D:\Games\MUX Legend". Add both folders to the exclusion list. After excluding the folders from protection of Windows Defender, you can download and install the game without checking by the Defender. Turn of the defender If you already downloaded the game which is in an archive file format, (Defender won't touch the archive files) but u forgot to exclude the folders. 1. Click on "Start" and type "Windows Defender" or "Windows Security" and open it 2. Go to Virus & threat protection -> Virus & threat protection settings -> Manage Settings 3. Turn off the "Real-time protection" 4. Follow the above mentioned instructions. Approximately all 3rd part antivirus programs also acting in same way. Just need to check settings for excluding folders. Have fun)
