Thank yall

I'm playing with +2 friend (elf and mg) and we find items for them all the time. But for me (Slayer) we have a hard time to find better items. I'm currently with 20 resets and willing to spend time to farm better items (sets and swords) and/or zen. What items i'm looking for and where i can find them? How i know what item is better? Which sets is worth spending some jewels?
