Aren't Medium stones a 100% success chance with +7 plus Jewel of Life option? I believe that the two incidents might be different.

The item was a excellent bow, with +7 as is required. It took my item and returned no stones! Very discouraging, as this is my second time trying to get those :( The first one worked just fine. H E L P !
