Gens - a battle system in MUX Legend between the two families - Durpian and Vanert. 

To not be involved in this fight is almost impossible, since many of the game play features are only unlocked after choosing one of the two sides. to start, you will have to choose on of the two sides. there are no distinct differences between the two fractions. to enter of the of two sides, you will have to see one of the gens npc. You can find these NPC in the Devias town.

    

when joining gens, you start with 10 points. by killing the opposing gen players in battle zones you will be awarded with points. in the table below you can see the possible ranks, their prizes and the points needed for each rank.

rules:

• the points are only awarded in battle zone 
• for a kill you get 5 points. for a death 3 points are taken away. 
• the pvp is free in battle zone, which means no punishment for kills. 
• if you have killed 1 particular player more than 3 times, you will receive a warning for a limit. 
• after you have killed 1 player more than 5 times - you will no longer get points for killing this player. 
• if you get killed by one player more than 5 times - you don't lose points when getting killed by him. 
• the limit resets after 60 minutes.

by pressing b, you can see your current rank and contribution. 

limits inside/between gens

• you cannot join a guild from the opposing fraction.
• you cannot join any guild if you haven't joined gens.
• you cannot create party with the opposing fraction. 
• you cannot enter battle zones without gens. 
• it is impossible to enable hostility with a guild from your fraction.

• you don't have to press CTRL button for PvP.
• the "D" keyboard button does not work. for trading, write the command /trade and press enter while having your mouse on the player you want to trade. 

the rewards are given once every week, on Saturdays at 18:00

Right now Gens don't working. I'm not sure, if there will be sense to enabled this system.
